Our story starts with us crossing paths several times Victory Church's Young Adults service. We had both seen each other there before, but we had never talked. Ironically, we both had crushes on each other but felt that the other was out of our league.

Victoria stood out to Sam, and he knew he had to meet her, but there was a lot of travel at the beginning of the year so we missed several chances to connect. However, in April, the journey began with our first date to Midge and Millie's coffee shop.

From there we continued to get to know each other, pray into every encounter and date, and trust the Lord for His perfect peace. Every single time we both individually prayed for clear direction and peace, the Lord answered. As the peace continued, we made things official on June 12, 2024.

Prior to dating, we did not anticipate our timeline to move as quickly as it has. But we both knew that we were meant to be together, and we both had so much peace from the Lord and from other spiritual leaders in our lives.

We began planning our wedding before we were engaged, and have kept Christ in the center over every decision. On July 23, 2024, we got engaged. One day shy of six weeks of officially dating, and around fourteen weeks of knowing each other. The Lord has guided us through it all.

We're both looking forward to this next season, and are honored to have ensured Christ is at the center of every step of our relationship. We look forward to celebrating His plan and our journey with you all soon!
